LDMLFN Official Election Results

 The community of Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation held its election on June 8, 2018.  The First Nation’s election is governed by a Custom Code and the term of office for Chief and Council is three years.

 Congratulations are extended to Chief Whitecloud (Judy Maunula) who was acclaimed as the Chief. Congratulations to re-elected Councillors Tracy Morrison, Irma Churchill, Carmel Zoccole, Julia Rusnak, and a warm welcome to Councillor Clark Chapman.

 “I am greatly humbled and honored to continue to serve our community as our Chief,” said Chief Whitecloud. “I would like to thank all of those who participated in our electoral process and convey my deepest appreciation to our membership as I look forward to what we can accomplish together. This is an exciting time of growth and opportunity for our people and First Nation and I look forward to helping carry out our vision of a healthy and prosperous community.” 

 “I would like to thank all of our members and families for their unwavering support and faith in our leadership,” said Chief Whitecloud. “Please join me as we express our heartfelt gratitude to the Creator as we continue to walk in the good path laid out before us.”
