9th Annual Return to Our Lands Powwow

We are pleased to announce we will be hosting our 9th Annual Return to Our Lands Powwow on June 24, 25, 26, 2016.  Warmups will begin on the evening on June 24, and the first Grand Entry is scheduled to take place at 1:00 P.M. EST on June 25.  We really hope to see you all there! Aboriginal Girls Basketball Camp

    The Aboriginal Sport & Wellness Council of Ontario in Partnership with Lakehead University Thunderwolves are pleased to announce girls basketball camps coming April 23-24, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Highschool, 621 Selkirk St.         The two day event will run from 10:00 am-3:00 pm each day with girls 9-13 years old playing from 10:00 am -12:30 pm and 14-17 year olds playing from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm. LDMLFN Successful in Securing $531,234 in Infrastructure Funding

NEWS RELEASE  For  Immediate Release THUNDER BAY, ON: Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation (LDMLFN) Chief and Council together with the Honourable Patricia A. Hajdu, Minister of Status of Women, and the Honourable Michael Gravelle, Ontario Minister of Northern Development and Mines, announced that Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation will receive $531, 234 in infrastructure funding at a news conference held today in Thunder Bay, ON. The funding is for a new solar-powered electric micro-grid that will reduce the First Nation’s reliance on diesel and help lower greenhouse gas emissions. Valentines Couples Date Night 2016
