The annual spring feasting of our traditional ancestral lands was held at the Community Round House on Friday, May 27, 2016, under the guidance of Elder Gilbert Smith.  Our Elders Council members were in attendance, and we thank them for making the arrangements for this ceremony to be done. We are pleased to announce we will be hosting our 9th Annual Return to Our Lands Powwow on June 24, 25, 26, 2016.  Warmups will begin on the evening on June 24, and the first Grand Entry is scheduled to take place at 1:00 P.M. EST on June 25.  We really hope to see you all there!     The Aboriginal Sport & Wellness Council of Ontario in Partnership with Lakehead University Thunderwolves are pleased to announce girls basketball camps coming April 23-24, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Highschool, 621 Selkirk St.         The two day event will run from 10:00 am-3:00 pm each day with girls 9-13 years old playing from 10:00 am -12:30 pm and 14-17 year olds playing from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm.
